Turn any screen into a controllable light or solid color
Overview
Fill turns the entire screen into a controllable light, lightbox, or solid-color field. It started as a tiny display-check utility, but now works better for real situations: video-call lighting, tracing, screen cleaning, bias lighting, night reading, dead-pixel checks, or showing an exact color on another screen.
Controls
- Choose black, white light, red, or any valid CSS color.
- Dim the screen with a brightness slider, arrow keys, or vertical drag.
- Tune white light from warm to cool with the temperature slider, arrow keys, or horizontal drag.
- Lock the surface for tracing, cleaning, or lightbox use so taps and wipes do not reveal controls.
- Keep the screen awake while locked with the Screen Wake Lock API.
- Share exact color, brightness, and temperature setups through the URL.
- Restore the last setup on the next visit.
- Works with touch, mouse, keyboard shortcuts, and TV-style remote input.
